I love the smell of death ray manta in the morning...
Wow... MSFT better assign someone to hassle *small town reporters* putting out INFORMATION LIKE THIS.
First the XBOXONE pisses off the used snake oil salesman that it brought to the dance in the first place (GAMESTOP) by implementing all the DRM horsecrap and used game restrictions. Now it's in danger of pissing off and alienating the very crowd it relies on to keep it's advertising dollars worthy. They had better not lose the low low info crowd that's fiercely ...
I've never seen a company of MSFT's caliber make so many boneheaded missteps in such a short period of time. I'm simply mindblown by the lack of preparation and lack of awareness when it comes to your target audience and their expectations.
Oh well, with that said this year's E3 is going down as one of, if not the biggest of all time, sans any surprise videos from GG. :)
I wonder if Shuhei Yoshida's wallet says, "Bad motherfu**er" on it. Dude is a stone cold player.
The PS3 has been "overtaking" the 360 globally for some time. VGchartz has been slowly resisting chang3 for some time.

"Look at the camera and smile motherfu**er. Now give me your money if you want to keep playing this game. Thank you. Now snap to Halo or COD?" :)
Yep, saw that Knight. So the story remains the same. MS is still the lone manufacturer thus far, to admit to blocking the ability to play used games on their console.
EA is up to no good here...and their usual underhanded money grab tricks. I know they're trying to wrangle SNE into this ponzi scheme with their multiplat leverage. Evil Bastards.

The lighting and shadows are markedly better. Richer coulors and the "lines" have much more fidelity meaning the instrument panel looks better, the dash, even the undulations and rubber markings on the road have greater detail now than 5. We all know the physics and vehicle feedback is going to be par excellence, but I think what some die hards like me want to know is what about the AI? Any tweaks there yet or will it be the same as 5 where the greatest oppon...
just not sure they wanted the people to actually "see" what they were "showing". I know I didn't and I was ready to be on board w/ their new box.
Funny thing though coming from "news.xbox.com". It seems MS as a whole, is always much more interested in the flash, hype , and talking up media reaction to and behind their "actions", rather than the actual substance of those actions.

"However, the really worrying part of Microsoft’s vision for the Xbox One is that the ultimate multimedia device in the evolving games and media market, the real winner of the one box to rule them all, is really the Smart TV, and they’re already available.
Microsoft seems to be committed to a vision of the living room where the TV as a device really is just a screen, but we’ve already moved past that."
"The TV capabilities ...
Not a lot of good to be heard from the devs except for the notorious cheerleaders... this isn't good. The devs, especially the indie devs sound like they were hoping for a more of a focus on games and ... well games.
And yes, I agree, the XBOXONE is not an aesthetically pleasing machine, but this it totally my opinion; however MS has never really been good at creating or manufacturing hardware. I just pray (for their sake) that this console isn't fraught w/ RROD 2...
When I think back to all the years I went into GameStop only to be fleeced for my games, their promos shoved in my face, and their UNIVERSAL (seemingly lock-step_ condescending attitudes and lies toward the PlayStation 3 repeated over and over, I find it really hard to feel sorry for them.
The innocent young employees who are just looking for some extra bucks I feel sorry for, but I know they'll bounce back.
Blockbuster?
WTF is that?

one company's "special relationship" with another one puts the PS4 between a rock and hard place? It's funny to think that a company that is actively trying to fleece more sheep by partnering with other >bloodsucking leeches< like EA and Acti to force fans of games to redundantly pay used game fees is "steering the gaming industry ship"????
Let me get this straight. Sony is not pushing used game restrictions on its cons...

Hell MS watched over the years as RROD decimated 360 after 360 only to have sheep go buy another one. MS charged for proprietary HDD at ridiculous costs and sheep still went and purchased them, MS lied about RROD and sheep still said "it's ok Daddy MS we know you didn't mean it". MS had so many failed boxes at FOXCONN that they couldn't even take anymore in for repair and had to ask for a reprieve. Still news of this did not deter sheep.

Simply stated, one of the best arcade games and quarter eaters of ALL-TIME. Games like this will never ever die.
Unfortunately, xbone's biggest mistake developed in the scope and purpose phase of the kit, long before this reveal took place.
MS has essentially taken their user base for granted and is basically shoving TV, ESPN, NFL, COD and KINECT cake down their throats, not to mention sacrificing precious computing power for better /games/ by trying to make the system the "all living room box". The fallout be damned.
Pretty fkn incredible considering what the world has been through since it's launch. Wars, Great Recessions, Losing the Godfather Ken Kutaragi, Shortages on blue laser diodes, Having to battle the gluttony of the worlds PS3 hating journos and MS d*ck riders, Having to close some great 1st party dev houses, The Great Format War Battle, The entire Fukushima/Tsunami disaster, Sony's stock plunging a couple of years ago as a culmination of a lot of bad luck, and a year LATE release of th...
Horrible site layout, horrible editing... I couldn't do it... sorry.
